Interestingly, volume for 09 was 161 million. For 2010 with all the pre-and post Nasdaq frenzy, volume was 168 million.

Thus far this year it's only 106 million. Arguably a 60% decline in volume on each of the previous two years.

Could be announcement driven. Could also be that, as the SP reaches long term support-resistance, liquidity descreases leading to a drop in volume.

Also worth nothing that volumes in the 18 months or so from Jan 09 to NASDAQ were far higher as a percentage of shares traded to shares on issue due to subsequent dilution.

Conversely, the volume this year, as a percentage of shares on issue, is far lower than previous years, thus magnifying the decrease in volume.

A Supply Agreement or two will/should change all that for the better.
