As a paediatric respiratory doctor I dont think it gives me the information I need. If the parents aren't sure if their child is wheezing I ask them to video it on their smart phone and I can usually tell if their are wheezing or not...and it's free. The NO detector is probably more helpful however one of our clinical nurses did her PhD on using NO for asthma control in children and found it was marginally helpful. You never know what can happen though.
