Why would I need shadowstats, the federal reserve publishes the data.

Even when you look at shadowstats data, it highlights that the inflation in the US is still less than it was prior to all of the deficit spending and QE that is supposed to be inflationary.

Furthermore, when you look at shadowstats M2 & M3 figures it highlights that the increase in M2 has not led to the exponential growth in M3 that hyperinflationists like to go on about. In fact the losses experienced in M3 is only now being filled by the increase in M2 - all this using shadowstats who apparently prove inflation is alive and well.
