fwiw to anyone who may be interested and no one in particular- I have this index doohicky thingy that kind of works good and stuff - the signals it generates often lead to significant movements in either direction.

It hasn't done anything for a while until yesterday when it gave it's first trigger that the XJO is oversold. Don't get excited it's only a prelim signal, we could easily fall a few hundred points from here however it's a first alert and from today I'll start watching it closely.
