On 23/03/2010 HAZ issued a press release titled "HAZELWOOD ACQUIRES MAJORITY INTEREST IN HIGH MARGIN FERROTUNGSTEN PROJECT TO BE COMMISSIONED THIS YEAR".
In this press release you can read this: "Construction activities are expected to commence during April 2010 and construction contracts are in the process of being let. It is anticipated that the plant will be complete and ready for commissioning by the end of 2010."
On 12/04/2011 they issued another press release stating: "Stage one of the ferrotungsten plant, with a capacity of approximately 2,400,000 kg of tungsten in the form of ferrotungsten, is expected to be completed and ready for commissioning by the end of 2010."
Reality check: At the end of 2011, one year after planned commissioning, ferrotungsten produced amounts to: Nothing.
The re-scheduled commissioning date is: Unknown.
