Yes, important info, Tretch. Thanks. It is a great stimulus to know of such active and creative minds as Alan Burns. Most people seem to point in a particular direction early in life and then stay in that groove. Burns was able to keep his mind diversified and supple. He had the follow through to try the ideas, set up companies to implement development and to achieve high ends.

What can we learn from him? Do we simply say that he was born with that bent? I am sure it didn't all just fall upon him. With a bit of persistent discipline we could probably also do more with our grey matter and leave the world in a better state through having lived in it.

While we will all have our end time I can't help but feel regret that such a highly tuned and insightful mind should be no more. It seems a waste. (There is some pensive philosophising here between function and value.)
