Like most investors on this site I hope that a Chinese miracle happens and I can recoup at least some of the huge hit I've taken on this stock. However in the back of my mind, having been to Shanghai several times and seen for myself the Chinese approach to industrial manufacturing (mainly in textiles and consumer electronics) I can say any past pioneering glory the Blinderman and Walker duo might have mad back in the good old days at Chinchilla is ancient history, and entirely irrelevant. The Chinese need the ERGO technology, the rest of the they will assiduously study (using any and every existing UCG project they can lay an eye on or ear against) and simply replicate it themselves - like they do every car, camera and crane. It'll be a bit of trial and error, but they have plenty of resource to rapidly smooth out glitches. Unfortunately Cougar have no resources to smooth out their catastrophic gaffe. Their is a lot of sentimentality on here, worlds like 'respect' and 'trust' and 'recognition' repeated ad nauseam. The Chinese do not give a red damn about any of that guff, they are cold hard pragmatists and pretty bloody cunning ones too. I will wish upon a shooting star on new years and hope for a 10th life for this nine times dead cat.
