re: Ann: APPROVAL RECEIVED FOR BULLANT CRUSHI...
Concerned I am not, not yet anyway.
I am alert, not alarmed.
As long as POG is above is above $1100, KMC still should be in the black IMO.
I am basing this guestimate on 12/12/2011 announcement to ASX titled Bullant Gold Mine Development And Production Update, next 3 months forecast. The cost of mining, transporting and processing the ore at the Barrick facility was stated as $1088 per oz.
After three months the crushing facility should be operational, generating further savings in processing cost.
So there is still plenty of blue sky, but few little clouds drifted in.
Lets hope that the Indians and Chinese do not loose their appetite for gold. Although, as bigger and bigger sections of the population joint the middle class, the orientation turns from preserving what little wealth they managed to acquire in form of gold jewelery to consumption such as cars, large screen TV's, fridges, washing machines, air-conditioning and other middle class trappings.
This may be generally good for overall economy but could be detrimental to POG.
