Some had suggested that pre-election years in the US are always up!

Well SPX in 2011 fell a massive 0.04 points. Yes from 1257.64 to 1257.60. That's 0.003%.

Now don't be pedantic and tell me the Dow etc. was up.

Of course it was a false record as 1931 was massive downer anyway.

Action lately has me seeing longer term US charts as NOT so bearish but locally they are.

Cyclically I am bearish till late May at least but the US is a bit puzzling.

I always love this time of year as its a new start, regardless of past results, and we can start again as though the past never happened. If the past was bad, forget it, if it was good, you can't rest on your laurels, so give it your best.
