if potash evaporation ponds are built on LD and the development is 100% debt financed, the Martu will be the beneficial owners of 15% of the project

if the project is 60% debt financed & Martu choose to not take up shares in any capital raising, they may be beneficial owners of 10% of the project

we are not discussing here a fight by an Indigenous group or by an environment group or by any group (such as the Franklin River campaign)

the Martu have entered into a historic precedential commercial agreement in a mining project where they may own 10% to 15% of the commercial returns

the Martu reps are leading the way for Indigenous Australians in terms of asserting their rights as the traditional custodians of the land
