I find it disappointing that any educated person would argue that the science can be settled on any issue. The nature of science is continuous questioning and advancement. No question is out of bounds.

The science was never settled that all things were made of four elements, or that the earth was the centre of the universe or that worry caused ulcers.

To believe that a view is absolute and beyond question isn't science; it is religion. To then question these settled truths is heresy.

Those who hold that their beliefs are beyond question are not scientific, they are religous bigots.
