Hey Timcoxon,
Bringing news of a possible closure of the Straight of Hormuz to the FAR website is like bringing news that oil is black, gluggy but pretty valuable. Its a no-brainer. Institutions like the one I used to work for and the one I currently work for have war-gamed that scenario till the cows come home.
HarryShezza was on the money with his call. 6 cents was nowhere near possible and as a comment, only served to fill the conversation list on FAR. For the record, I agreed with Chef747 on Hormuz (doesn't happen often) and we went on to discuss the Malacca Straits and Salafis and Muslim Brotherhood effects on the Suez (look to the Baltic Dry index moves for early warning) but I still dont think the comment was that enlightening.
