    If you own 60% of a gold company you control the company and 60% of the gold company's assets belong to you IS CORRECT. I repeat IS CORRECT.

    Example:

    A gold company without any debt is voluntarily wound up. After meeting employee obligations and legals 60% of the value obtained for the gold company is returned to the 60% shareholder.

    10% of the value obtained for the gold company is returned to the 10% shareholder.

    1% of the value obtained for the gold company is returned to the 1% shareholder and so on...

    It's amazing imo how some people seem to twist facts.
