I made a small fortune today. I went long on 25 DJIA contracts on Dec 27, 6 minutes before the market close and nailed a 230 point gain prior to the market open Tuesday 2012. I was down -500 euro at one stage as the selloff continued after market.
Must admit I was sweating New Years...but today locked in a $25k profit over 4 days for the effort. First time I think I have actually been so agressive and recorded a massive profit without my own intervention. I couldn't actually close out. Market opened 230 points up after being down -16 points or so. Was great seeing thousands of Euros that just kept piling up.
Point is, that other people's fear is our opportunity and those profits will be redirected to WPL in coming days/weeks with a little leverage on top so I can buy a $100k by June. Will be different though time wise. I'm looking for something much less stressful to park cash in for a 2-3 year period. I'm done. I nailed Wall Street hard and now I'm taking a break in oil. WPL has a habit of breakout out of $30 eventually, rather than seeing much less...
