Turps that particular store I'm told was well stocked , so they either sold & didn't reorder or returned stock for credit . I'v got some mates in the industry who also sell to the 'partners' .
About 17 years ago we were doing our due dilligence on aquiring another small but apparently successful cosma ( mainly lipstick ) but found all 'sales' were on consignment . In practical terms 'real' sales were less than 1/3 quoted . We walked they folded . Theres nothing wrong with offloading a bit of old stock 'sale or return ' but its not consistant practice with a strong selling product .
