    Very limited time here, but I want to close this thread as it's not helping nor necessary.

    Let's be clear that HotCopper has not ever asked for or wanted money for membership.
    Income is from advertising, which you have to agree to receive by email to access the site.

    Regarding charity, everyone is free to donate to whom they like, but for a couple of months now, the charity that we support has had a click banner on the left hand side of the page.

    Parkerville are a great charity, and it's there as an option for members who wish to contribute.
    The tax benefit of the donation can then go to the member direct.
