    HIGH GRADE GOLD DISCOVERED
Synergy advises that a significant gold intersection has been encountered in the first drill hole (SSDH001) at the Sunnyside Project.
Screen assays of the intersection have returned the following results:-
    64.6 g/t gold ( +2 ozs/t ) between 154.4 - 154.9 metres, and
    265 g/t gold ( +8 ozs/t ) between 154.9 - 155.3 metres.
The intersection is contained within an 8 metre mineralised zone commencing at a depth of 153 metres.
Screen assay results for the balance of the zone are expected shortly.
The zone is some 58 metres below the historic stopings of the United Brothers mine at Sunnyside and was outlined by the recently completed 3D Geological Model.
Several additional zones of interest have now been identified following the cutting and logging of the core.
Zones of mineralisation encountered within the hole between 35 and 42.8 metres and between 58 and 70 metres will be immediately screen assayed.
SSDH001 is the first diamond drill hole ever drilled at Sunnyside.
A second diamond hole at Sunnyside (SSDH002), 80 metres south of SSDH001 has encountered multiple zones of interest.
Two lodes predicted by the geological model were intersected at approximately 188 metres and 208 metres downhole respectively.
The upper lode is a broad 12 metre zone that is in the most part heavily mineralised.
The lower lode is a narrower zone but is also heavily mineralised.
Two further zones of interest have been identified – one close to surface and one at 136 metres.
All of the zones are to be immediately screen assayed.
Two diamond holes have also been completed at Four Brothers Gully within the Glen Wills Project and the cores cut and logged.
A number of zones of mineralisation have been identified including the presence of visible gold. Screen assays for those holes are awaited.
The drilling programs at both Sunnyside and Glen Wills will be recommenced at the beginning of the New Year.
