Asterisk. Sorry. Did mean to answer you but got caught up with all those non sensical posts.

The gap is that orange ellipse. It's created price jumping higher or lower thus creating a gap in the share price (SP). Some times gaps fill straight away, other times it can take months or years to fill. You have to understand the surrounding signals to know if they will close or not. That's why originaly I said this gap wouldn't shut. I was right. Now I'm saying without further confirmation and signals this may shut. I'll give a more in depth analysis later.

For SH's gaps offer a increase/decrease in SP. They also offer well defined support and resistance. For short term traders like myself gaps offer some very nice trading strategies. I'd recomend that you google gaps and read up on them. Or you can have a look in the short term traders thread. In some of my posts I'm sure I covered gaps. To cover it properly would take about 1.000 words.
