The products developed by TIS and AVH may treat similar conditions but they are completed different in application. IMO the market is big enough for both products and as other posters have pointed out, the TIS product is easier and cheaper to apply.
Below is an extract of the AVH product from their website:
"ReCell® Spray-On Skin™ is a stand-alone, rapid, autologous cell harvesting, processing and delivery technology that enables surgeons and clinicians to treat skin defects using the patient's own cells in a regenerative process, accelerating healing, minimizing scar formation, eliminating tissue rejection and reintroducing pigmentation to the skin.
ReCell has been designed for use in a wide variety of wound, plastic, reconstructive, burn and cosmetic procedures.
The procedure is performed on site, utilizes a patented and proprietary 'spray-on' application technique, takes approximately 30 minutes to complete and does not require laboratory facilities.
The ReCell product is approved for marketing and sales in Europe, Canada and Australia. ReCell is under clinical investigation as an investigational device and is not approved for marketing in the USA.

How does ReCell work? The ReCell kit has specialised compartments that help to separate skin cells and place them in a special spray fluid. The kit uses a special formulation of an enzyme called Trypsin to process the skin cells. Trypsin is naturally found in the pancreas and is used here to break down the link that keep the cells attached to each other.
What sort of wound can be treated? The ReCell suspension can be used to treat wounds and other skin defects to enhance wound healing. It can also be used to minimise scaring and reintroduce skin colour (pigment). Some surgeons use ReCell to treat acute wounds such as burns, scars or during an operation such as cosmetic surgery to enhance healing and reduce the formation of scars and blotchy skin. Indications include:
•Treatment of partial thickness skin defects, including burns and scalds.
•Scar reconstruction and other skin defects.
•Treatment of epidermal defects such as hypo-pigmentation (discolouration of the skin)
•Treatment to prevent possible side effects of cosmetic laser surgery.
•Treatment of the donor site.
