"The NSW government shouldn't have switched
off the speed camera at Urunga on the Pacific Highway without putting other safety measures in place, the opposition says.
And there's a "chance" Sunday's accident on the state's
mid-north coast that led to the death of a young boy could have been avoided, opposition spokesman for roads, Robert Furolo says."
Oh, really. The truck that hit the house and killed the boy was; quoting NSW Police; "Investigators believe the truck driver attempted to avoid a collision with a northbound Holden Commodore utility which was in the southbound lanes," they said.
I despise cheap weak politiians who try to use tragedies like this to their political advantage. A curse on them.
