If SSN close in the US tonight at lets say $2.80 in would open here in AU around 13.5 Cents depending on the currency rates, so no traders or increased volume would be needed, creating another gap.
This has happened on many occasions on the positive and negative sides. This is what makes SSN quiet a unique stock, so you cant put normal logic or use charts to help you.
All I know is that my iphone get a serious work out after hours with plenty of sneak previews.
