I'm from the east coast and bought a few Burey shares in the high thirties. Sold for 11.

I'm a mining and share novice, but work has brought me to Perth and out of curiosity I went out to Balcatta on the weekend to see what Burey's HQ actually looked like.

Balcatta is a spartan industrial area about 10 kms from the city centre. There, next to a suburban mechanics business, sits an unimpressive two storey blonde brick building surrounded by other cheap office space.

There's a sign at the front naming the various tenants. There's nothing on the sign I could see for Burey Gold. Just Perseus Mining. There were car parking spaces out the front. One reserved for Mr R. Gajewski and another for company director Susmit Shah. It was a Saturday, and not surprisingly, both spaces were empty. (no weekend crisis talks on the falling share price lol).

I guess you shouldn't judge a book by its cover but shining glass Perth mining edifice this was not. Quite the opposite. And in practice, I can't see how anyone could argue that Burey and Perseus aren't absolutely one and the same (except in some convenient corporate configuration.)

And no sign of any citrus trees either.
