Clearly it's not close to being fully subscribed else, as you point out johnny, they wouldn't need to extend it. However I would have thought that given that there was originally a possibility of the revised resource upgrade announcement coming out before the original closing date of the SPP many holders would be waiting to see if they could base their decision on the outcome of that. I was certainly waiting until the last possible minute to put my money in in case we got that information first.

Now that the closing date has been extended, and assuming the upgrade is good news, then it still offers shareholders the chance to gather all of the information before making a decision. And if it IS good news then that's going to boost the take-up of the SPP significantly.

You're right that it's likely not fully subscribed, but revising the closing date so that it is definitely beyond the upgrade announcement doesn't seem like a negative to me in the long run. Just my opinion of course.
