It still amazes me when posters compare LYC to any other company.
Lets expand that..the REE sector V all the other sectors.

The world knows jack shit about this sector.

All it knows are the figures out of China.

China has no idea how much is/has been smuggled,and at what price.

Molycorp figures so far is all smoke and mirrors and will be until they mine from their mine..not left over stuff.

Silmet hardly interests the world and what they process is very niche..a market set up for the last decades.

What do we know about the REE,s from India..next to nothing.

Now compare this to every other sector.

What do we know about..gold/silver/oil/iron ore/lead/zinc..etc etc..wheat/corn/curremcies...we know everything..its old world..like Europe.

Once in a life time something comes along that is new,exciting,...it started with Henry Ford..the Wright Bros...Alexander graham Bell,and so on..all fresh..new..unknown.

TA to me uses all the moves associated with the old world stock.
When this line crosses this line and this line crosses that..its similar to BHP..CBA movements..(Mitta)..oh really..we are like BHP and a bank...I dont think so.

Are we like FMG..a new player in an old field up against RIO/BHP..I dont think so.

Are we like WPL,even closer to home..ILU..I dont think so.

LYC is creating its own story...yet to be published.The volatility leading up to today has been because the world knows jack shit..misinformation,bad press,idiotic analysts,etc etc..

If ever there was an FA stock its this one.

After a couple of years..TA will have a better understanding how LYC tracks..till then...stay focussed on the news.
