Illipave -
If you wanted to sell your options today you'd have two choices.
Convert them into heads, pay 7.5c each and then sell them for 8.5c - making you the 1c profit per option you speak of.
Alternatively, you could just sell them on-market without converting - where'd you'd currently get around 3c each.
The options are worth what people are willing to buy them for.
Normally oppies will lag behind the heads by their exercise price. (e.g. If MNM was trading at 20c, MNMOA should, in theory, be trading at 12.5c, because they cost 7.5c to convert).
But recently people having been wanting the oppies at a premium, to take advantage of the leverage they offer.
Hope that made sense :S
