    Driving down the PPX SP

    [who is driving it down?]

The likes of Orbis are unlikely to accept 3c except in dire circumstances.

[I believe you over estimate the importance of PPX to all 3 substantial shareholders - another few cents is now immaterial to them. I calculate MBA's price is $2.52 & Orbis is 0.694. Who cares?]

That is why this talk of getting PPX holders to accept less so PXU holders would get more is unlikely to eventuate.

[then nothing happens with PE, PaperlinX is forced to sell off parts and the funds go to PXUPA]

I for one bought PPX recently on a bet that it will turn around. I also expect that some PXU holders did likewise for the same reason.

[as I submitted elsewhere, that is an OK punt for you, but there are no large natural buyers of PPX except PE. Why will things change at PaperlinX after 10 years, apart from "bets" and "wishful thinking"?]

Given the current situation what do others think is the best bet at current SPs - PPX or PXU? Or are both dead ducks?

My considered, albeit lengthy, answer at http://www.paperlinx-sux.com/2012/01/is-pxupa-now-oversold.html

If PXUPA is worth $17 then PPX is worth zero. PPX is a dead duck whereas PXUPA is a wounded eagle.
