chimera, Fair comment, what they are doing is not right. I cannot understand the reasoning, it is not as if the whales are a staple have to have food source for Japan,they are not a pest ,not a threat to the production of a food source etc. I am more than sure the number of Whales taken by Japan per yr would but a blip on the radar in regards to feeding a nation. I think they are doing it because they still can and will continue to. A bit of the old we will do what we want when we want ,and good luck trying to stop us. The Gov has alot to answer for on this one, and if we are looking for a straight answer from the current GOV, well lets not hold our breath. As for the scientific reasons excuse, what aload of BS. Some fat cat in Japan is making alot of money from this, and has control, and is pulling some powerful strings, to keep it going each yr.
