No...not all gaps do not always close ... Traders (usually the ones with no holding or ones who would like to top up their holding) would like you to think so, but ... examine their motives closely... In fact, you sometimes encounter buying support immediately above a gap.
My advice is to hedge your bets ie, buy some now (with a tight stop if your worried) and hold out for the remainder with the buy at 4c ....not saying it won't get to 4c just saying the probability of it occurring in the short term is quite low in IMHO.
But then I hate that sinking feeling of watching a stock kick away from me ...especially one with fundamentals such as this one (ie, with a number of liely reports due which could be released at any time... )
