Funny thing about it is no ALP officials knew about the fund raiser until they read about it in the Telegraph.Or maybe that is not so funny.
Anyway we have it from Craig that the fundraiser was in no-way a bid to pay back the ALP the estimated $200,000 it spent bailing him out of legal fees.Thats comforting!
Labor insiders yesterday admitted to confusion (fairly normal response) that Mr Thomson would hold such a fundraiser when his endorsement to run again for the seat of Dobell in a fortnight is looking very doubtful,to say the least.
I am so pleased Julia has given him her full support,he looks like needing it,or will she just walk completely away.Should know soon enough!
