As I've previously advised, Myrtle Rust has minimal impact on CCF. There is absolutely no evidence to date of myrtle rust in any of the eucalypt species planted by CCF.

The areas chosen by CCF for mallee plantings (WA wheatbelt)are not suitable or very marginally suitable for myrtle rust.

CCF has very dispersed plantations across WA which minimises the chance of rust spreading from one plantation to another.

If any outbreak were to occur in WA, CCF believes the impact on its estates would be minimal.

Since CCF does not harvest its trees, the issue of Myrtle Rust is less significant for CCF than it is for companies that farm trees for harvesting.
