The trouble Vinn is that I have this data on about 700 asx companies and it is pretty much all the same. The short interest just drops in huge amounts without any changes in price.
It doesn't take much, normally only a few percent , to destroy a companies share price. So you borrow 10% and use 2% to push the share price down. Then you buy back in off market.
What a reward for very little effort.
