If as you say ,sold Down, I would punt on a good reason not yet apparent.
So, the Big Dude could be the reason.
Is there more to the choice of the new partner than we know ATM; More to follow ?
They seem pleased to ann that
"This farmout will provide Grand Gulf with a dedicated partner who has the significant and specific geological and geophysical expertise warranted for a project of this size and complexity"
Is the Two Well proposal over 9 months , only part of the PROJECT ? How much dedication required for two wells in nine months ?
Not exactly over working the partner who gets 57% to 63%.
So what is the PROJECT having "SIZE and COMPLEXITY ?"
Meanwhile
Can't help but feel that 31 mar 2013 will have an affect on OPs .
