Correct Jo something is wrong with the annual consuption and peak watts number I used..So lets forget about Aircon's and consumption for a moment(Im feeling foolish) I found the 20c rate for electric from the site posted(victorian supplier)Would you agree with this more basic assumption. We produce 85Kwhs annually if we are paying 20c per Kwh that equates to $17 worth of electricity(85x.20=17)
So every Sqm of roof/wall (minus 20% for inactive area)will produce the owner $17 ... So a shed 18x10m with some walls used as well to give us 200sqm active material (200x17=$3400)This is all just for an idea in any case as the product is supposed to be for very large buildings.I guess large business may pay less for their power but inversely may qualify for FIT for their roof giving a substancial profit. How big are those Bunnings sheds..??Very high walled as well.if the product can go on market at the right price I can see it as very very popular.
