Lawyer to push for probe of miner's role in massacre

The Australian Federal Police will be asked to investigate Anvil Mining's alleged role in a massacre in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Richard Meeran from Slater & Gordon is about to file witness accounts with the agency which allege that the Perth-based miner provided the Congolese military with vehicles used to get to the site of the killings. Meeran is acting on behalf of Rights & Accountability in Development in the UK and a Congolese NGO.
