I'm sorry, but stating that STX's EFS acres are worth $25,000 (per unproven acre) is ludicrously optimistic.
Marubeni acquired land in a JV with Hunt Oil, comprising of 52,000 net acres- assumed to be located in the Counties Hunt has wells & drilling rigs in:
Karnes County, Gonzales County, McMullen County, LaSelle County and Wilson County. In other words, mainly 'sweet spot' acres, especially in Karnes and Gonzales Counties, arguably 2 of the best (if not the best) areas in the eagleford.
Lavaca and Fayette County are 'up and coming' areas (especially Fayette) and from what I know, you can count the number of disclosed Fayette County producing horizontal wells on two hands.
