There is no way that dye will be getting$50 a sqm on a product that delivers $17 pa. benefit to the buyer! There will clearly be a premium paid for solar steel, but it will cost more to produce and install. On top of that dye will have to pay a third party to produce the dsc component.
Tata's insistance on grid parity real impacts the value proposition at dye! They can achieve this outcome in two ways. First develop higher-up efficiency dyes. Second reduce the cost of dyes to Tata. Or a combination of the two!
