Guys, I have been watching this thread evolve over the last few days and I think you guys may be at the beginnings of something great here. There are a few magical places on HC (The XJO and DT threads jump to mind). These forums evolved, not because of anything admin or mods did, but rather because a group of talented like minded posters started bouncing off each other and the threads then took on a life of their own....
I agree with Musashi's earlier comment that it would be a good idea to avoid the one liners (that's a suggestion not a directive). I say that because as much as anything else you don't want to end up as just a duplicate of the DT thread. But I can see a real niche being filled here. If I had one (personal) criticism of the DT thread is that there is too many "shutting the gate after the horse has bolted" posts and I see the potential here to amend that. Personally my greatest successes have always come from taking a view of days or weeks (or even months pre GFC) rather than hours or years...so a short term thread would be great.
Musashi it is very pleasing to see that you are resisting the temptation to fire back at posters who may needle you. Remember, there are guidelines that mods are obliged to enforce but given an option all the mods would a hundred times over prefer to work WITH posters (rather than against) to create something worthwhile....like this ST thread...so Musashi, I encourage you to keep letting the little stuff go through to the keeper and use the ignore or TOU buttons for the bigger stuff and the mods will deal with any problems. But that aside great work here guys.
....and on another note....my little contribution today. ANP is worth watching. the last few times that it bottomed was at the 50 day sma...It's very neatly there again today. The bolly has tightened and volume is drying up. I think a swift move is coming one way or the other and as the trend has been up I favour up at the moment. I could post a chart but as you guys have decided you don't want that during trading hours I will respect that.
I will fade into the background again now and continue to watch with interest.
