@guss_au
a shake-out is a well known and often applied strategy in a situation just like ours
people talking for days about setting their stop losses because of the two previous occasions when SP dived on inside info (just to be followed by disappointing announcements) if volume picks up to the downside etc.
relatively small selling can, if done aggressively, trigger these stop-losses and result in the SP going a lot lower where it will be accumulated by the same party at a much lower cost base
in our case this would be imply anticipation of good results
but i doubt this is the case as all the big holders got more cheap shares recently, there is no need for them to accumulate, on the contrary they would be trimming their holdings in a hurry if the insider info was bad which is more likely after two dud holes
i trimmed my holding by 1/4 yesterday after considering the odds but still hold a substantial parcel
hole #3 is make or break for POK in terms of credibility, i suspect the good doctor will be also selling heavily if the third hole is a dud
let's wait and see
