Hi PB
Firstly as HM pointed out, Mantle does have a coal allocation in the LV.

Mantle are progressing first at BM as the infrastructure necessary for an export project is in place. This has been discussed many times in relation to Exergen's CHTD process being applied to BM brown coal to create BCE and railed (which will be upgraded in the next few years) to port and shipped overseas. Hence the pre-JV (and current JV progression) between MNM and Exergen to develop the BM brown coal deposit.
As for the calorific value (CV), if you take identical feedstock coal and process them through Exergen and their competitors, the Exergen process will give you the highest CV, as not only does it give you a final lower moisture content it also has the ability to reduce a proportion of the ash and other impurities.
As per the Exergen website and also the linked Mantle announcement, “Recovered water becomes available for agricultural or industrial use”

This information is openly available in the public domain on these company's websites and other portals. I would assume that as you seem interested in buying MNM shares, you avail yourself of these sites to research MNM, Exergen and similar technologies and come to your own conclusions before investing.
If you do, you like me, will see MNM as having massive upside and buy in with complete confidence, especially with bullish trading signals, an increasing SP and company making ann's on the near horizon.
Cheers K
