Iron. you may not like a couple of things that are going on in your country at the moment but you should not get yourself into a lather about it all! There are two reasons why you should not do so. First it is not healthy to get so stirred up. Secondly there is always the likelihood that the way you see things and what you put across here on HotCopper are not actual. That is, you are not seeing things as they really are.
For every poster who runs criticism about Ms Gillard and her crew there seems to be one who expresses positives. Words like admiration, courage, tenacity, sagaciousness come to mind. The woman is certainly top tier of the cake in the eyes of many and the possibility remains that they may well be correct in their judgment. Correct in that the woman will go down in history as being on the right side of the ledger. One who has done us proud. One who has served us well. One who despite constant denigration from certain quarters was able to hang on hang in and put into place a wide and extensive range of policies which time will reveal were good for all of us. We have a hint of this already. A couple of indicators: the carbon tax and the resource tax. These initiatives will be beneficial to all Australians down the track. The carbon tax readying us for a world in which the demand will be for all countries to be responsible by playing their part in reducing carbon emissions. And think. just, for one minute mike, of the possibility of a tax reduction for you implicit in the take from the big mining companies. Now that would be really nice wouldn't it mike? So, to looking ahead. Try to keep the chin up matey.I know that you do not appreciate what is being done for you at the moment. You think that there has been much lying, deceit etc, etc, and etc going on and we would all agree that if this were the case then we would have something to complain about. But, mike, at the back of your mind keep in mind the real possibility that you may just be wrong in your view of things.
