Word on the street is that the the government is already in a holding pattern with no significant decisions being made until after the election. IMHO this has nothing to do with "needing additional information" this is all politics. The decision to wait until April was most likely made back in October! The DG of DEEDI has even resigned (unofficially) because of QLD government political interference with good quality decision making.
