re: Ann: Exploration for potash deposits in S... Actually on balance they made a lot of money for share holders by selling their iron ore deposits to One Steel.
Their joint venture with EEE was that in return for access to their K-Fuel technology EEE would have 50% interest in the joint venture vehicle Southern Coal Holdings.Now that it looks like EEE can't deliver this technology,WPG will retain 100% owner ship of SCH.To make the low grade coal deposits more valuable I think it was the most sensible thing to do at the time to adopt the K-Fuel technology.
Unfortunately because of the financial situation at EEE this is in jeopardy but I wouldn't be surprised if WPG still will find a way to use that technology.
