I have a cpl stocks like that G, but i have a cpl dozen stocks that have done nothing or worse.

Just for curiosity I had a look at when i first bought FNT, it was back in '06 @ 13c (did sell a year or so later). obviously a lot has changed fundamentally (for the better) since then but not much with the SP.

You do see with a lot of successful resource stocks that they toil for years and years, sometimes a decade, with stagnant SP growth until all of a suddenly and almost unexpectedly they hit the mother load and the SP price rise meteorically.

That is only possibly with good management, which is dedicated to increasing shareholder value rather than an annual pay chq, determination and obviously a bit of luck. That is one thing I will say about FNT, is the stellar management and the 100% commitment I believe they have in delivering shareholder value.

For me, holding a stock like FNT is all about that pesky patience and luck thing. Neither of which I was ever good with.

Anyway I am off on a 5 day weekend, as my luck would have it, im flying from sunny Melbourne to stormy GC.
