We may not necessarily have to wait until they become an actual producer (depending on how good things are, takeover interest could build before they reach producer stage) but at the very least it'll be a year or two before this really takes off.

If they have even a quarter of what the initial samples suggest they have, they'll want to take the time to get every t crossed and i dotted to ensure the market believes their resource when it finally gets released!
