But 2 things:
1 aelb is not meeting with cabinet by month,s end. It iseems pretty clear no aelb decision will be made on 30 Jan ( and at any event cabinet was certainly not meeting with them but subsequently)
2 the finance deal does not put any" squeeze" on the Malaysian cabinet. How on earth does it do that? The only issues for cabinet are politics, health, safetly and foreign investment. There is no pressure at all on them from the funding deal. There is no pressure full stop because the LAMP ain't finished.

The decision I think will be made soon, but it has nothing to do with any LYC squeeze. Indeed if for a moment they thought they were being pressured by LYC, politically that would not encourage them to make a decision. They could not be seen to be caving into that sort of pressure.
