Channel 9 news has just announced that Gillard has called an emergency meeting for the Labor caucus next weekend. It will be followed by a BBQ. I'll bet they keep the knives in a safe place.
Apparently they will throw around ideas and have been asked to report on what people in their electorates are saying!
Are they preparing for the Craig Thomson matter to hit the headlines? Will Rudd be conveniently overseas, at an urgent meeting in the Congo? Is Gillard trying to shore up support in case Rudd or Shorten challenges?
