A follow up statement indeed would be good.

They apparently did have a crisis meeting at one of Perths water front eateries the other night (at the expense of shareholders of course). Maybe we should have invested in the taxi business as they are receiving a better return than shareholders.

I believe that Newcrest have a performance based contract with CKK and we simply didn't perform and were thrown out. CKK will most likely not be receiving any payments from Newcrest as they didn't complete even one hole.

There will be much more to come over the next few weeks so hold onto your hats.

I think much more will be revealed about the type of drilling method the company undertook against advice and the modifications without approval the company also made to the rig.

Connector Drilling are still there and drilling their holes with the correct method which is casing over burden drilling from the surface with air to drill past the 150m of palio channels that have large amounts of water or so I am told.

Lee...I would suggest that if you don't want all sorts of unwanted speculation you don't start a thread with your own speculation however as none of us know what the legal ramifications will end up being I guess all we can do is speculate?

I don't think we will get a cent from Newcrest and we are in fact in breach of contract and that is why we were told to leave. But again that is simply my speculation. Even if Newcrest do say this the company could possibly disagree and seek legal recourse...who knows?

We will all know soon enough.

The biggest issue for me is when the dust settles and what must be is done then hopefully we get a board with drilling experience and we get back to negotiations with AWT (remember them?) who have enough work in the pipeline to keep a couple of rigs busy for quite a few years.

I wonder what ever happened to the CLRS?
