I note that today in the Business Spectator there are two articles relevant to this thread.
One article is by Christopher Joye stating and providing evidence that Oz. house prices are about to substantially rise again.
Another article is by Robert Gottliebsen pointing out that in some financial circles, the AUD is considered better than gold, so the AUD is set to dramatically rise along with Oz. unemployment. One or the other must be playing the "devils advocate"
