Obviously M & G,s broker are allowed to loan M & G,s stock and have in fact done so in the past - This was stated by W.M at the November AGM - Lets hope they have said that they would cease the practice when they get their 7.5m shares at $4.

Would have to be a gentleman's agreement as it couldn't be a condition of the placement ( IMO )
