I usually trade options against a selected few stocks. banks, larger mines and XJO.
PDN is a little side bet with CFD's. Did play with CFD's back a few years ago but became too hard to make risk/reward pay off. Had been playing with covered options for many years, therefore changed the option strategy to trade uncovered.
Agree with the cost of short term trading. I'm into picking a 2-3 week trend, What I like about PDN it usually bounces between the Bolly bands and the bands can have a reason gap between the bands. ie. approx. 120 to 190 at the moment.
I have been thinking of trading the longer term stragety like yourself, but perhaps I haven't the patiences.....
